about

I wrote 'Less I Know' about missing the little girl I used to be. She saw the world so beautifully and purely and she didn't let anxiety bring her down. Nowadays, as an adult I find I can get in my own way- "overthinking, second guessing". I am sharing all of me here. I hope you can connect with it!

lyrics

Overthinking, second guessing
Can’t count the voices in my head
So I spiral, out of body
I just wanna stay in bed

A little longer, oh
Wish I was stronger, oh

The older I get the less I know
The stronger I seem the more I choke
On every word out of my mouth
And I wish I knew how
To shut them out
All of these doubts
That I can’t help but drown in
The older I get the less I know

Holding on, but I don’t need to
Gotta let go of my grip
On the future, I’ve created
If I could just unclench my fist

And let it all play out
Just let it all work out

The older I get the less I know
The stronger I seem the more I choke
On every word out of my mouth
And I wish I knew how
To shut them out
All of these doubts
That I can’t help but drown in
The older I get the less I know

The less I know
Tell me where did that bright-eyed girl go?
Oh

The older I get the less I know
The stronger I seem the more I choke
On every word out of my mouth
And I wish I knew how
To shut them out
All of these doubts
That I can’t help but drown in
The older I get the less I know

The less I know

about

Gia Darcy Sydney, Australia

Gia Darcy is not afraid to be a bright, loud, colourful, pop artist. The singer-songwriter based in Sydney debuted her first single ‘Tango’ which showcased her smooth and sweet vocals in an effortlessly fun snapshot. Her second release, ‘Lies’ showed a darker and edgier pop vibe with a bolder sound. She is unapologetically taking this sound one step further in her new track, ‘I’m Not Sorry’! ... more
